GRO obtains the EcoVadis gold medal for its good sustainability practices

In its second year of evaluation by EcoVadis, GRO has improved its result by obtaining a gold medal from EcoVadis, an organisation that evaluates the social, environmental (purchasing, waste management, operational control, efficiency improvement…) and good governance practices of companies all over the world.

Our commitment to sustainability, as set out in GRO’s company policy, has led us to be audited by EcoVadis with the aim of contributing to continuous improvement and sustainable development.

The second EcoVadis evaluation of GRO has resulted in a score of 73 points out of 100, which places us among the top 5% of the companies evaluated with the best score, highlighting improvements in the areas of environment, labour practices and human rights and ethics.

The EcoVadis methodology is based on the evaluation of 4 pillars (environment, labour and human rights and sustainable procurement) through 21 sustainability criteria, in line with leading standards such as Global Reporting Initiative, United Nations Global Compact and ISO 26000 and is supervised by a scientific committee.
